VI Forum of the European Route of Historic Gardens, under the banner of sustainability, environmental protection and protection of cultural heritage.

Historic gardens from all over Europe are meeting in Florence, at the Uffizi Galleries, with the aim of sharing and launching strategies for the conservation of both natural and artistic heritage.

Directors and representatives of the parks, including Andreina Contessa, Director of the Museo storico e il Parco del Castello di Miramare and of the Regional Department of Museums of Friuli Venezia Giulia, will give life in the Auditorium of the Gallery of Statues and Paintings to a day of non-stop discussions on the many topics on the agenda.

The interventions will be held in English and Italian, with speakers from the countries involved in the European network.

The Forum will also be streamed live on the Uffizi Galleries’ Facebook page.
