Events in Miramare

Sunday 28 September – Miramare Piano Days

Miramare Park will be transformed into a natural stage for Miramare Piano Days, a day entirely dedicated to music and the piano.

The initiative, organised thanks to the collaboration between Miramare, Feel Rouge and Ebony & Ivory on the occasion of European Heritage Days, offers three free outdoor concerts, divided into three sessions, with three different artists who will bring their personal musical interpretations to the avenues and lawns of the Park.

11:00 a.m. – Castelletto – Gabriele D’Alonzo – The Secret Language Of Tones
3:00 p.m. – Piazzale del Castello – Igor Longhi – Armonie Per Il Domani (Harmonies for Tomorrow)
5:00 p.m. – Parterre Inferiore – Andrea Tonoli – Respiro Internazionale (International Breath)

Free admission without reservation.

Sunday, 28 September – Stories to touch

The GEP party continues with a special activity dedicated to families with children aged 3 to 6. From 10.30 a.m. to 12 noon, the usual appointment at BioMa on the last Sunday of the month with the volunteer readers of Nati per Leggere (Born to Read) is enriched by a walk in the Miramare Castle Park, “guided” by the tactile book ‘A Day with the Archdukes. Illustrated tactile guide to Miramare Castle and Park’, the new publishing project by the Miramare Museum created by DieciOcchi Tactile Book Design. A museum operator will take part in the walk to guide families on their discovery of the itinerary, along with a member of the WWF staff from the Miramare Marine Protected Area, who will offer adults and children some scientific “nuggets” of information on the naturalistic details of the route. The event will conclude at BioMa with a multisensory reading of the tactile book.

Reservations are required by sending a message (preferably via WhatsApp) to 3493256747 BY FRIDAY 26/9, indicating the name and date of birth of the child and the name of the parent or other accompanying adult. Details of the event and the various options in case of bad weather will be provided to families who have made reservations by Saturday 27.
