Starting Monday, 12 January 2026, works will begin for the construction of the arrival footbridge of the new Grignano lift.
The construction site will affect the central section of the avenue connecting the entrance of Grignano with the Castelletto Parterre, near the Serre Nuove.
The works will start with the demolition and excavation of the existing pavement and will continue with the construction of the foundation and the completion of the new footbridge.
Work Schedule
From 12 to 25 January 2026
The area will be completely closed to both pedestrian and vehicular traffic to allow demolition, excavation, and the construction of the footbridge foundation on micropiles.
During the construction of the foundations
A temporary sacrificial pavement will be installed, allowing pedestrian access only, with an approximate width of 80 cm.
From approximately 23 February 2026
After the 28 days required for the concrete to cure, work will begin on the completion of the footbridge and the installation of the final pavement.
