15th June from 8.00 p.m. in the square in front of the Castle of Miramare, the Cultural Association Società di Danza Circolo Triestino APS, which for many years in Trieste has been promoting historical dance of the 19th century – with particular reference to the romantic bourgeois period (1845-1860) in Central Europe – will offer visitors a philologically reconstructed show with music and choreography of the period.
The protagonists will be some twenty costumed couples who will dance to the dance music of the Strauss family, re-enacting famous choreographies inspired by the figure of the Empress of Mexico Charlotte of Belgium, whose precious sceptre is now on display at the Castle. The performance will be free of charge.

The choreographed dance will last approximately one hour. The exhibition and the Castle can be visited before and after the performance until 11.00 p.m. thanks to the special opening of the Miramare cultural area, also with the accompaniment of the dancers and with the help of specialised guides, at the price of €7 per person plus entrance to the exhibition and the Castle.
