The Piccoli di Podrecca will return from July 21^st to August 6^th with their outdoor show, “Varietà en plein air.” This sunny and entertaining performance was specifically conceived for open spaces and will once again delight children and families with the humour and musical feats of the ancient string puppets that the regional Stabile Theatre company has brought back to life in the past two years.

Animating the Piccoli is the result of refined wisdom and artistry, built upon study, experience, and passion. In collaboration with ENAIP and with the support of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, the Stabile Theatre has organised a course over the past months to pass on the “craft” of puppetry to younger generations. The group, led by Della Polla and Guerrato, brings back to Miramare some “Variety” acts, born from this very experience. At the end of each show, the audience will have the opportunity to experience the emotion and challenge of “manipulating” a puppet, with the assistance of the animators.
